COVERGIRL is a cosmetics company.

Challenge:

To create a one-page spec printed magazine ad to inform buyers of their new lipstick and where to buy it.

Solution:

I used COVERGIRL’s stylish, fun tone to speak to the physical benefits of hydrating, soft lips and the emotional, deeper benefit of the buyer feeling confident wearing the perfect shade. Using phrases like “day and night” and “turn heads everywhere you go” makes the wearer feel ready for any occasion while wearing the lipstick. The copy clearly states where customers can purchase the lipstick.
